Can Atorvastatin, Metoprolol, Clopidogrel, Lisinopril And Omeprazole Cause Nightmares?

I m worried about my husbands problem trying to sleep. He wakes up feeling like something is crawling on him. Or wakes up thinking he heard something crash, or me calling for him. He has nightmares. This has been going on for over a year but started getting worse the last few months. It started when he had a 2nd stent put in and they changed his meds. He takes Atorvastatin 20mg, Dicyclomine10mg, Metoprolol 25mg,Clopidogrel 75mg, Lisinopril 5mg, Bayer aspirin 81mg, and Omeprazole 20mg. He also takes Potassium 99mg,and Magnesium 250mg. Can it be caused by a drug interaction? He also suffers from minor mood swings.

First of all, it's sad to know what your husband had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, it can be due to panic or anxiety attacks however his drug history containing Dicyclomine and atorvastatin may rarely cause such side effects.

CPK and LDH levels should be monitored, and drugs may be readjusted after a review by his primary care physician.
