Can Augmentin Be Taken For Cough While Suffering From UTI?

Good morning, I have been sick since July 20th with upper respiratory and sinus infection, viral and bacterial; the doctor has had me on two rounds of anitibiotics- amoxicillin and Augmentin. I am feeling somewhat better, but my pulmanoligist wants me on another round of augmentin; I have hesitated; the last round of augmentin ended August 16th. I now have a UTI; still coughing; should I take the augmentin? I m so tired of being sick! Thank you and have a nice day! Kathleen

youcan take another round of augment in.infact for uti culture sensitivity should be done and most effective antibiotic to be taken.till then can drink sufficient water and take syrup alkasol three times daily.mantain hydration
