Can Azithromycin, Advil And Ibuprofen Be Taken Together?
Good evening, I am wondering if it is safe to take Azithromycin, Advil Sinus and Congestion relief (ibuprofen and Phenylephrine) and Nyquil together? My 18-year old son is on his 4th day of a sinus infection plus cough, is in pain and can t sleep. Thanks so much!

Usually antibiotics (Azithromycin), Ibuprofen, phenylephrine and other anticold remedies can be taken together. There are interactions between these drugs. But if the combinations contain a higher dose of antihistamine then drowsiness may be seen. In such a situation it is better to avoid driving any vehicle or operating any machines. Usually anti cold medications may be needed for 5 to 6 days or a bit longer if the attack is severe. Thanks.
