Can Azithromycin Be Taken After Its Expiration Date?
My question is I was prescribed Azithromycin a couple of months ago I didn t take the medication yet. When I looked on the box the date is March 16, 2016 I am wondering if I can still take it and will it still help?? Or do I need to get a new prescription?? I was also prescribed Metronidazole at the same time so the same date on it as well.

It would be good to have new pills since it is not recommended to take it after expiry. however, it won't cause serious side effects of taken but it would be better to have new one.
