Can Azithromycin Interfere With The Pregnancy Test Result?

i should have my period last Jan23. got a pregnancy test last jan22 due to some medical matter and it indicates negative. since it s already 2days past due on my period, i took another test and it indicates positive. last night i took azithromycin and have pregnancy test this morning, it shows positive. is it possible that my taking of azithromycin causes positive result?please help advise.

well azithromycin doesnot alter pregnancy kit results...since twice your report came positive, it is likely that you are pregnant.....
and it takes some time for the hcg level to rise to a certain level so that the results come positive..and that is why on the first occasion you had your report as negative....
