Can Bactrim DS Be Taken For Chlamydia Infection?

I was prescribed BACTRIM DS for an infection, can it also treat chlamydia? My ex boyfriend told me this past New Year that he had it. I haven t been with anyone since, and haven t been tested, but, am afraid i may have it. It s been 10 months now, would I know by now if I do? And what are the symptoms? Can you have it this long and not know?

I really appreciate your concern, antibiotic (Bactrim) can be used in chlamydia infection and in your case if it is suspected then it needs to be clinically examined for confirmation because it may not be that one, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
