Can Benadryl Be Taken After Discontinuing Prilosec?

I have been on Prilosec for about 2 mos--have been treating for a itchy rash & was given 5 days of prednisone 60 mg/day--(now completed) also had taken Benydryl for itchiness--also discontinued Prilosec 4days ago Now that I have finished prednisone can I take Benedryl again--Prilosec was effective 4 gastric condition immediately by the way.

If you're suffering from allergy you may take Benadryl. But this drug is not effective for a long duration. Long duration of intake may lead to side effects.
