Can Benadryl Be Taken For Allergy Who Has A Bladder Infection?

My wife went to the ER on Sunday night and had a bladder infection, so the prescribed ferrous sulfate 325mg. Last night, we had shrimp for diner and she had an allergic reaction and her whole body itches. This morning she bought some benadryl for the allergy but the ingredients say it contains calcium and ferrous says not to consume calcium. Any recommendations?
