Can Berberine Be Taken While On Metoprolol?
Hi, My husband and I bought some berberine today.. he wants to wean off of his metformin...his diabetes is type 2 and pretty well controlled by diet... I didn t read the list of meds that you shouldn t take with Metoprolol until after he just now took the berberine... so I told him to tell me if he feels any increase in his heart beat and other things... is this a big thing? or just a possibility that the two won t mix for him

berberine is herbal product effective to treat type two diabetes. metoprolol is beta blocker used to treat hypertention myocardial infarction there is no interaction between drugs there is chance of bradichardia which can be monitored dose of atenelol can be regulated
