Can Betnesol Injections Be Taken During Pregnancy?

Hi doctor now I m 8 month pregnant and my doctor prescribed me betnesol injection today and tomorrow and the reason for injection she said is that baby lungs as to expand and it as to cry after birth my fought is that injection is prescribed because I m in high risk of preterm delivery and my doctor adviced me to come weekly check from now onwards Waiting for your advice

There has been a constant question about the use of Betamethasone or Betnesol injection in pregnancy. Unless there are specific conditions or reasons why you should be taking them, betnesol is never safe to use while pregnant.
