General & Family Physician 's  Response
Betnovate C contains a steroid and antibacterial drug. If you are very sure that this lesions are due to insect bite, then you can use it. Wash the area with water and soap, then wait till it becomes completely dry. Then apply the cream on the lesion. Do not allow cream to enter in your eyes.
If the rash does not disappear you should visit the dematologist for this. Take oral antihistaminics like cetrizine twice daily for 3 days. This will reduce your itch.
Hope this will help you.
