3 Years ago I was sent in for an MRI because my prolactin levels were about 27.5 the results were worded something along the lines of No obvious mass but not ruling out prolactinoma due to symptoms (back then I had headaches, but later realized it was an allergy and I have felt fine since). Now 3 years later after avoiding the Drs office my Dr said my prolactin levels are now 37.7 and they want me to get another MRI done. My insurance does not pay for it and it is not cheap. I did some research on the internet trying to see if their are other causes of high prolactin levels, I do not have headaches, no vision issues. I read that my BC Beyaz could cause the levels to raise? Also that alcohol can also cause it? I have a drink with dinner almost every night. Sometimes its wine, beer, once in a while it will be tequila. Is it possible that is my issue and I can try not drinking or going off the BC before paying for an MRI? Thank you Sarah
