Can Bioderma Shampoo Be Used For A Long Duration?

Hi there.I m using Bioderma sampo for 1 year.Doctor told me keep using this shampo.Since that I always using Bioderma and I wondering can I get some side effects because on shampo it says : 2-3 times per week intensive tretman.Thank you and please reply. :)

Hi,

Bioderma shampoo has ingredients which:

1. will limit the proliferation of Malassezia yeasts responsible for dandruff.

2. will prevent recurrences by minimising sebum secretion, which causes Malassezia to spread.

3. has powerful kerato-regulating agents to clear severe dandruff and facilitate its elimination.

4. will enrich skin by soothing agents instantly and lastingly relieves itchy scalps.

Hence it is recommended to be used in conditions having persistent dandruff and itching of scalp. The mode of application of the shampoo is as follows:

1. As intense treatment for first 3 weeks: 3 shampoos per week

2. Later, for maintenance: 1 or 2 shampoos per week.You can keep using the shampoo as long as you need and reduce the frequency based on the response to the treatment.
