Can Bisolvon And Ventolin Be Given For Wheezing And Runny Nose?

Hi my son is almost 9months old he s was born premature at 33weeks about two weeks ago I told him to the doctor because he started wheezing after catching a cold a daycare 2weeks before. I kept him home a week and he was almost completely better, he returned to daycare a last week and came home with a runny nose. What should I do? I really don t want to have so much medication going through his systems so soon since his last dose. Is it safe to mix bislovan and ventolin syrup?

Hi,

While it is ok to give your kid Bisolvon syrup (Bromhexine) for cough and and Ventorlin syrup (Salbutamol) for wheezing but you should not mix these two and you should consult a pediatrician before giving these two medicines.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
