Can Brufen Tablet Be Taken To Relieve Extreme Toothache?
I have severe tootache because of cracked root, appointment booked in 24 hrs with speciallist, need pain releif advice till then. in the cabinet I have ibuprofen, panadol, and tramadol, have been taken these in moderation and I am still "screaming", I also have a packet of 4 BRUFEN, says take 1 every 4 hours, can I try these instead (or in combination with one of the others) - they were prescribed to me a few years ago for pain after deantal surgery but did I did not need them then
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that you have a severe nerve inflammation and irritation leading to severe pain.. If pain is so severe then you can take Ibuprofen as it will reduce inflammation as well as pain.. But for severe pain you can take higher pain killers that can relieve acute pain like Tramadol and Ketorolac.. Along with it you can start doing cool compresses on the cheek on affected side.. You can also apply Clove oil on the tooth or can place a clove over the tooth and press over it.. You should not chew from that side and also take soft food... You can also go for injectable pain relievers in an Emergency room if pain is not relieved with oral painkillers,,
Hope this helps..
Regards.
