Can Budesonide, Celebrex And Remicade Be Taken Together?

I have been prescribed Budesonide for several months for a flare up of Collagenous Cystitis, first time in 6 years. I take Celebrex and each 8 weeks Remicade. mainly for arthritis and Psoriatic arthritis. I have been taking these two for years with positive effects. I am concerned about a conflict. Should either be reduced? Budesonide prescription is new and I have not started it yet.

Hello,

The only interaction between the drugs you mention is between budesonide and celebrex. One can increase the effect of the other due to synergism (when drugs have the same effect in something) and also if used together can increase the risk of stomach problems and bleeding.
You will need to talk with the doctor related to these possible side effects and interactions and discuss the need for dose adjustment and if there is need to use something to protect the stomach like pantoprazole or similar drugs.

I hope I have answered to your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards,
