Can Entecort (or Budesonide) raise one s blood pressure. I m 61 years old, have Crohn s disease and until three years ago my blood pressure was never more than 125 / 85. Now it s closer to 138 / 90. Prior to that time, I was taking Asacol for Crohns. Paul

YES BUDESONIDE CAN CAUSE A RISE IN BLOOD PRESSURE AS IT IS A STEROID. BUT IT DOES SO RARELY.
HOWEVER THE NORMAL BP RANGE AT YOUR AGE IS 140/90 SO U DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE SAME AND CAN CONTINUE WITH BUDESONIDE AS ADVISED BY UR DOCTOR
