Can Butrans Patches Cause Muffled Hearing, Anxiety And Confusion?

I have chronic pain from nerve entrapment. I was placed on a Butrans patch 5, I was noticing that my hearing was becoming muffled and I was having issues with my vision. I also noticed a huge difference in my personality. I was very moody and had lots of anxiety. I was having confusion and almost like I was not in my own body. Yesterday I noticed a strange taste in my mouth it was like dissolving aspirin and my tongue was burning and started to swell. I called my Dr. the nurse said to take off the patch immediately. Today they would like me to try it again.
