Can Candozole Cream Taken For Yeast Infection Prevent Pregnancy?

Hi doctor. Im from Malaysia. I would like to ask recently i had affected by yeast infection and doctor do gave me Candazole cream for insert into vagina. The doctor told me to not have sex with husband for one week. As we just married and eagerly wanna make a baby, we had our sex a day after i used the cream. Since the doctor told to not have a sex at same time i was did that. But when im having my sex i felt pain. So i just worried that is there will be any problem for me to get pregnancy or ant femine problem?

Hello,
The cream will not hurt your baby or cause you not to get pregnant. We tell people to avoid sex sometimes to allow the vaginal tissues to heal from the infection.
