Can Canesten Cream Be Used To Treat Thrush?

Hi, I recently had a smear test which showed up BV but I had no symptoms, I was given a course of antibiotics (beginning with M?) but since I have finished the course I seem to have developed Thrush, so I have bought some canasten cream to treat both inside and out. Is this ok to do?

Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. You have taken antibiotic metronidazole for bacterial vaginosis. After that most likely you have gotten yeast infection due to dysbacteriosis. You can apply clotrimazole cream ( canestan ) locally for this. There will be applicator with this. You can apply inside and outside. Using intimate wash regularly will be helpful to restore the normal bacterial flora and PH also.
