Can Cephalexin Be Taken For The Pus Filled Sores Around The Mouth?
I HAD TWO PLACES RAISE UP ON MY UPPER PART OF MY MOUTH ABOUT THE UPPER LIP. VERY PAINFUL & HAVE CLEAR LIKE WATER COMING OUT OF THEM. THEY ARE SORE & KINDA A THROBING PAIN. I HAVE SOME CEPHALEXIN. CAN I TAKE THAT FOR THIS AS IT SAYS FOR SKIN IRRITATIONS.

You might have developed furuncles.
These are deep bacterial infections.
Treatment is with antibiotics.
Cephalexin is a good antibiotic but the choice of antibiotics should be based on culture and sensitivity tests.
