Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I have been taken cerazette for over a month now, I still have my period nearly 2 weeks although it is light, I had a blood transfusion 2 months ago due to heavy periods for years, the doctor has now prescribed me primolut , 3 tablets daily for 10 days , if I take this along with cerazette will my period be heavier next month, worried I may need another transfusion
Good day and thank you for posting this question. Hope you are strong now. If you take the two drugs, your period will not be heavier next month. They are used to control dysfunctional uterine bleeding, but bleeding might be a side effect. For now take your drugs and let's see how next month period will be like. And if you noticed serious bleeding kindly go to the emergency room. I hope it helps. Thank you.
