Can Cerazette Be Taken Along With Citalopram Hydrobromide?

Hi. I started Cerazette last week to relieve me of menstrual pain and was prescribed citalopram hydrobromide yesterday for depression. Are these two safe to take together? Also is citalopram as unsafe with alcohol as I have read about? I drink quite heavily on the weekends and I'm quite worried of the consequences even if I cut down. Thanks.
