Can Choriomon 10000 IU Injection And Duphaston Help To Release The Unreleased Egg?
I had periods twice on 13th March & 29th March for five days.April 9th when i went to doctor she told me that the egg hasnt released n is growing in my ovary so gv me Choriomon 10000 IU inj & adviced me to take duphaston from 13th April. My question is will this unreleased egg release? Will there be any complication? Is there any chance of getting pregnant? I have pcos & am taking glucophage since july 2012.
Choriomon injection will promote ovulation and release of the egg. Duphaston is progesterone that will help prepare the uterus to sustain pregnancy. Complications from Choriomon injection are usually mild and include stomach cramps, pain at the injection site. There is a chance for ovarian cyst to rupture if present. But this side effect is extremely rare. You have good chances of getting pregnant.
