Can Ciphin Antibiotics Be Taken For Sore Throat And Fever?

Hi, I am 30 year old female, 165cm and weigh 64lgs. I went to my doctor in Slovakia as I have had a sore throat, fever (on and off), nausea and runny nose last 5 days. He diagnosed me with acute inflammtion of the pharynx and prescribed ciphin antibitoics. I am concerned that this is not appropriate, as I do not want to build up my resistance to antibitoics. Since the start of the year I have been getting bouts of cold/flu for 1/2 weeks at a time. I was referred to an immunologist who found out somethign was low in my blood count and prescirbed immunor which i am currently taking. please can you help advise whether I should take these antibitoics now or not, I am desperate as I feel alone in a foreign country. I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain Ciphin contains active ingredient Ciprofloxacin and it is appropriate Medication for treatment of bacterial Pharyngitis and you can very well take it to relieve infection..
You should also take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen or Naproxen , do warm saline gargles..
Continue taking Immunor,do steam inhalation and use a humidifier in your room..
Avoid chilled and spicy food..
Drink plenty of warm fluids..
You will start feeling better soon..
