General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

* As per my clinical experience, the issue of upper and lower respiratory tracts do have different management protocols as per the clinical symptoms and severity.

* The Clavum syrup is beneficial for many gram-positive infections, but the final decision to start antibiotic depends upon the clinical judgment only.

* As there are many different viral infections, which resolve on its own with supportive decongestant and cough formulas without antibiotic as well.

* In my opinion, you should seek advice for your daughter to her pediatrician to start Clavum.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
