Can Clomid Be Continued Despite A Light Period?

I am a polycystic patient n not ovulating. My gynae prescribed norethisterone 10mg 2times a day for 5days, on the 4th day stopping the pills, got brown spotting. And the next morning i got a slight red blood clot and after tat the period is very light. On the 2nd days of the menses, me period is still very light. Im on fertility treatments now. Is it normal for the light period n can i continue with my Clomid pill?????
