Can Clonazepam And Escitalopram Be Taken Together?

My doctor prescribed me clonazepam as anti deppressant for day time and escitalopram as a sleep aid, but im reading now that mixing clonazepam with other sleep aids is a deadly combo. It is only my first day on it, but it makes me feel very sluggish..I was hoping an anti depressant would help me feel motivated again, I do not want to sedated all day..Any suggestions?
