Can Compazine Be Taken For Treatment Of Nausea And Vomiting?

Hello, I am a 26 year old female with nausea, vomiting. I could not reach my doctor, so my good friend who is a dentist and rarely prescribes for such conditions spoke with my pharmacist who recommended Compazine. My dentist asked me if I had any allergies to any meds, which I don t, and he also directed me to your website to seek additional counsel. I can t afford a trip to the OR. The side affects listed are many. Is it safe to take. Thank you for your consideration, Appreciative patient

Hi,

I do understand your pain and discomfort.

1) As per your history this drug is used for many reasons but for nausea and vomiting why do not you take DOMTOP dispertab which contains {Domperidone}.

2) Go to the route cause of vomit and treat that cause also. (Do stool exam, USG abdomen,Urine exam) and blood DCI.
