Can Cremaffin Plus Be Taken Safely For A Long Duration?

Hi, I am a 24 year old female. I am have suffering from stool constipation from last 1 week and I got this problem after my delivery 1 months back. Now breast feeding my baby. My doctor has prescribed cremaffin Plus syrup. Would there be any side effects if I take the syrup for long time? I mean can I continue taking the syrup and will there be any effect on my baby? Thanks

According to my knowledge and research there is no side effects of Creamaffin syrup associated with breast feeding. But prolonged use leads to Anal Irritation (Excessive Dose) And Seepage. Foreign-Body Granulomatous Reactions; Vasospasm; Lipoid Pneumonia; Interference With Absorption Of Fat-Soluble Vitamins.
