Can Crocin Be Taken For Fever?

My son [2years 1 month old] is having fever from past 3 days. Once crocin is given it will come down and again after some time its repeating. Yestereday night even after crocin is given temperature is areoung 100degrees. Pls advise whether we can continue crocin again. He is also having cold and cough and we are giving bricanyl and relent.
