Can Deviry Help In Conception?

HI.. My wife is 25 years old, he period got delayed. At that time she was not pregnant. then the Doctor Prescribed her, he medicines. the medicines are as below. Tablet Deviry (10 mg), twice a day. After having medicine for 10 days. Now she is pregnant. I am tensed.Please advise

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Deviry is medroxyprogesterone acetate which is a progesterone given for menstrual regulation.
However, it can cause congenital anomalies in the fetus, hence she should get a detailed anomaly ultrasound at 18-20 weeks from a fetal medicine specialist to rule out any congenital anomalies.
