Can Diane 35 Be Stopped In Between To Advance The Period?

i am currently on the Diane 35 pill for my skin (not ''birth'' control reasons) and i have my prom this week and my regular schedule means i will get my period on the day of prom which i don't want... my box of 21 finishes sunday, but if i stop taking it today so that my period comes earlier, is that ok or will it screw up my hormones?
