Can Diazepam, Hydrocodone And Cephalexin Be Taken Together?
My daughter is having Rhinoplasty and I need to know if all the drugs she is prescribed can be taken all together I know that there are 6 and 8 hr doses but can they be started all at the same time. Diazepam 2mg Hyrocodone 7.5-325 Ondansetron,Cephalexin.
When used alone each of these medications can cause central nervous system depression so if taken together it may have additive effects in depressing the central nervous system.
Consult her treating doctor for an alternate effective medications that do not interact, or she may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring to safely use both medications.
There is no documented evidence of other medications causing harmful interactions if taken at the same time.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
