Side effects noted with the use of medication include: Nausea, Vomiting, Loss of appetite, Diarrhoea, Difficulty breathing or swallowing, Decreased bone marrow function, Mood changes, Mouth sores and Headache. Your liver enzymes show that GGT is increased more than two-fold and it is primarily due to your drinking habit. Also ALT and AST are borderline higher, indicating the commencement of liver dysfunction. Although the medication you are taking does not affect liver functioning, it is advisable that you need to stop the habit of consuming alcohol to avoid further damage and prevent complications arising out of it.
