Can Diclofenac Be Taken Along With Acetaminophen?

In lots of pain and have been prescribed hydrocodone/acetaminophen 325 until I get back injections. I have diclofenac left over from knee problems. Can I take the two together? Back injections scheduled in 2 weeks. Many thanks for your input. Gloria in Va.

Hi,
As you have mentioned you are in severe pain, though you have not mentioned cause of pain.
Diclofenac should be avoided in patient with kidney or liver problem.
And it is usually advisable for short term use.
You can take diclofenac with acetaminophen if your kidny function and liver function are normal.
