Can Diprovate G Be Used For Allergic Rashes On The Face?
Dear Team,
I m living in New Jersey and recently my face skin got allergy/ rashes/ itching.
i used diprovate G cream(got from India), i used this in past too. I didnt remember why I stopped in past.
But now i used this weekly once, sometimes twice a week.. applied night time and wash in morning..
its so effective and my skin was so clear and soft next morning..
but i didnt know how much quantity i have to apply and frequency of usage etc..
Mine is little bit dry skin.
I stopped using 2wks and my skin got worse.. i got white small bubbles/bumps.. not sure what it is.. after that got rashes.. skin is so tighten.. itching etc..
i applied home remedies.. turmeric+oats+neem tree leafs+ rose water..
in 2 days itching gone..
but still my face is not good.. its tighten and small rashes are there..
I found that diprovate G is for skin infections.. should i use that again or is there any other medication which i have to use.. please advise. Thank you so much.
B/c i never use face makeups.. i only use cetaphil moisturizer and cleanser soap.

Diprovate G contains a potent steroid called Betamethasone. This particular drug is not advised for use more than 2 weeks. If used for longer period, it can cause skin thinning, hair growth on skin and redness.
I advise you to kindly stop using the cream. You can use a glycolic acid face wash for clear skin and you can continue Cetaphil moisturizer and cleanser soap.
