Can Duphaston 10mg Be Taken During Pregnancy To Cure Minimal Bleeding?

I am currently 6weeks pregnant and after ultrasound my OB found minimal bleeding. She precribed duphaston 10mg BD for 7days. I got curious to know more about the medicine and searched online, i read that is should not be taken during pregnancy. I got paranoid and wondering about it.

Hi, duphaston is safe to take in pregnancy. It is given to support the implantation. There is no harm in taking it. You can take it up to 12 weeks of pregnancy.
