Can Duphaston Be Taken During Pregnancy?

I had missed my periods and had brown spotting on 19th of this month and visited doctor yesterday. She had my ultrasound and strip test and said that I am not pregnant but corpus leutium is filled with fluid she administered dupbaston. Is it possible that I am pregnant and is it safe to use dupbaston if by chance I am pregnant?
