Can EES 400 Be Taken Along With Clexane During Pregnancy?

Hi, I am 32 weeks pregnant and has bee prescribed ESS 400 antibiotic for cold & cough. forgot to tell my doctor that I take clexane 40 mg everyday. Will that be ok to continue to take ESS as I can t check with my doctor because her practice close until Monday morning. Thank you

Hi,

It can be taken safely while on Clexane. There is no documented harmful interaction between the antibiotic E.E.S-400 and the blood thinner clexane, hence the antibiotic may be taken as prescribed.
