Hello, got a chest x ray, multiple blood tests, chest ct scan, doctors said my lungs were fine no abnormalities. i got a gastroscopy and they found mild esophagitus caused by acid reflux, i have this chest block and it causes strenous breathing. i know its not asthma because i had some asthma when i was younger which consisted of wheezing sputum, bla bla bla. this strenous breathing started suddenly when i got this chest block feeling in the epigastrium area. i took the ppis for a week but i then i went to a chinese medicine doctor he said the breathing is related to the esophagitus inflammation which tenses the chest the epigastric muscles which makes strenous breathing. its like lung s arent expanding because of the chest block. anyway i havent been eating meat, or acidic foods like coffee, alcohol, bla bla for about 2 weeks and im taking the chinese medicine with about 3 days. my question is how does esophagitus cause breathing difficulty because its unusual?
