Can Fertomid Cause Delayed Periods?

Hi the first day of my last period was on the 30th of July 2015, I took fertomid on the second day of my menstruation as per Dr s prescription for the next five days, I normally have a 28days cycle, my question is, is it possible for the fertomid. to delay my periods since I haven t got any from the 2nd of August up to now.

Thanks for posting in HCM.
Fertomid contains clomiphene, which is used to induce hormones needed for ovulation.
Hence, it is used to treat infertility caused due to hormonal imbalance in women who are not ovulating properly.
Commonly reported side effects when taking Fertomid tablet include: facial flushes, abdominal pain, abdominal discomfort, bloating, ovarian enlargement and blurring of vision.
Other side effects related to menstruation experienced include: heavier menstrual periods and bleeding between periods.
Delay in menstrual periods has not been the usual side effects described by use of Fertomid.
Hence, you need to immediately consult Gynecologist for proper evaluation and management.
