Can Flexeril Be Taken While On Voltaren?

Hi there,have been taking voltaren for a long time for fibromyalgia and have been advised that I cannot stay on it. As I am currently being tested to become a kidney donor as my daughter has kidney failure and on dialysis.The pain level without voltaren has made me non functional with joint pain etc. I am wondering if 5mg of Flexeril 3hrs before bed may help ? What do you think ? Would it have no negative effects on my kidneys ?

Hi,

Flexeril is a muscle relaxant and it can help with any muscle spasms or cramping that you may be experiencing but it is not a direct pain reliever. Flexeril is not known to have any effect on kidney function.
