Can Flonase And Zyrtec Be Taken For Sinus Infection?

I have a sinus infection .....nasal congestion, drainage, itchy eyes and throat, ears pop when I swallow, stuffiness that gets a little better for a short while. Saw a doctor on Monday who diagnosed me with URI. Prescribed Rynex DM Liquid and Omnicef. I have had no fever at all and no coughing outside of from the drainage. I am now out of the Rynex. What can I do for better relief? I have Flonase and Zyrtec that I use regularly but didn t know if I should take it now

Hello,

Flonase long term use may cause side effects you can use Zytee L as the night time for two weeks. Avoid cool drinks and freeze water. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
