Can Forteo Injections Be Taken While On Escitalopram And Lamotrigine?

I currently take escitalipram, lamotrogine, Vitamin D, Sulfasalazine, hydroxychloroquine, and leflunomide. I have some osteoporosis and have taken Reclast for the past 3 years. Now my doctor wants me to do either a Prolia injection every 6 months or Forteo injections (can t remember if it s daily or weekly). Is either ok with my current medications or is one better if both are ok? Thanks for any info! Email address is: YYYY@YYYY

Hello, Thanks for the query
The Injection Prolia (demasumab ) is a monoclonal antibody, supposed to be helpful in treating high risk osteoporosis to prevent fractures. It does not seem to have any interactions with various drugs you are on at present.
Similarly Forteo Injection (rDNA origin), also is effective in treating osteoporosis. That too is not having any interactions with present drugs that you are on. Both drugs look quite good. The choice depends on the need according to your doctor. If recommended you can go ahead and take the preferred medication. Thanks.
