Can Furosemide Be Taken In Place Of Valsartan?

I am on valsartin and feel hot after taking it and feel shaky. I have only been taking it for a week. Other medications I am taking include difficult hydralazine,, methldopa and cardvelol. I am considering asking my doctor eliminate the valsartin and add furesimide. I do not feel well on varsartin.

Furosemide is also antihypertension medication and can be used fo essential hypertension but this is different kind of medications compared to Valsartan and it would not be good to replaca valsartan on your own. YOu should consult cardiologist about this. But if there are such side effects on vasartan then this should definitely be switched to another medicine.
