Can Gabapentin, Xanax, Percocet And Cymbalta Be Taken Together?

Hello, i have a friend who has been prescribed various drugs to deal with the nerve from a shrinks in her spine, as well as structural pain from past injuries. I am extremely concerned that she is playing Russian roulette with not using these drugs as prescribed, and mixing drug cocktails as she sees fit. Currently, she takes Gabapentin, Xanax, Perkaset, Cymbalta, musle relaxers that I know of. I can t believe this is safe, so how and why would her doctor be prescribing all of these to her? Is it even legal to prescribe this much medication to an individual? She is experiencing a lot of emotional breakdowns and suicidal thoughts. What would you suggest I do as her friend? I try talking to her, and she gives me a lot of excuses saying she isn t addicted ect...
