Can Gabapentin Cause Hypersensitivity On The Back?

Can Gabapentin cause hypersensitivity on back that feels like spins and needles and hurts to lean against back or be touched? Also horrendous head ache behind eyes? I was recently put on gabapentin and now am getting off it and my doctor says that those are not side effects of gabapentin...I was also weak in the legs, dizzy and had jerky arm movements...felt uncoordinated Harriet
