Can Glipizide Be Taken With Natedglinide?

My mother, an inactive 75 year old, suffers from Type 2 Diabetes as well as kidney disease and high blood pressure. I am very concerned about the combination of drugs her three doctors have prescribed. Should she be taking glipizide along with natdglinide? Both meds she takes twice daily.
