Can Glycinorm SR Tablet Be Taken To Treat Irregular Menstruation?

Hi I am having irreular periods, like once in 2 months. My doctor has prescribed me Glyconrm SR 1 grm after dinner daily. I am not diebetic and have a plan to conceive. Everywhere I read about this tablet they talk about diabetiese. I am worried is this the right medicine for me to get regular periods and get conceive. Also want to ask it won t harm me in future..please help me..

The Metformin component of GLycinorm SR is known to be helpful for PCOS conditions as it may increase the chances of fertility and make menstrual cycles regular. Be in regular follow up with your doctor for periodic ultrasound evaluation and further guidelines of therapy.
